Talented Reggae Artist Tobijah

My artist name is Tobijah and I have been involved with music for the past 10 years of my life. I am most inspired by reggae, dancehall, and hiphop and envision myself playing a part of the "Reggae Revival", first dubed by Dutty Bookman. I envision myself connecting the gap that Jamaican and other Caribbean artists have with American radio play. In America we have artists from the UK or Australia on our radio, why cant we have other nations like Jamaica that also speak a form of English. I was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida in the 90s when dancehall and reggae was taking off in Florida and because of this the whole culture has played a large role in my youth and into my current adulthood-tobijah

I am currently working on making a mixtape called "Feeling Great" and it will feature all of my current tracks from my ep "Rise Up" plus 10 more new songs. My brother and I both make the beats, then he does the mixing and mastering. I write the lyrics and sing/rap lead and backup vocals, and my sister records some backup vocals. My brother runs the production and his brand is Zephaniah Vibes.

Our mixtape will be complete by July 23 and if you would like to put the mixtape on your blog it is going to be lite. We are putting a lot more money into the production of the mixtape then we did for "Rise Up".
